HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?
As America Mourns 9/11/01

How could these buildings meant to bring the world together meet with such tragedy?
What could possibly cause such hatred for our fellow man to bring us to this place?

This day the world looked on in disbelief as the angel's tears were flowing...
This day America looked for comfort as they watched this terrible destruction...
This day our fellow American's gave their lives trying to save others...
This day we finally caught on...We were meant to be brothers!

If we can come together when the world looks so bleak...
Can't we learn that love is what will take us to the peak?
Why do we ignore each other when things are looking bright?
Can't we just for once let tragedy make us see the light?
